Gynecologic malignancies

Dr. Paryani underwent specialized training at Washington University in St. Louis for the treatment of gynecologic cancers with radiation. Most of these tumors are treated with combination of external and internal (brachytherapy) radiation. .  Dr. Calkins and Dr. Berk are two of the region’s leading experts in complex gynecological brachytherapy, and other radiation physicians in the area routinely refer more difficult or complex cases to them. Our team works with a specialized staff trained in the delivery of high dose rate brachytherapy and has onsite physics staff to ensure safe and accurate treatment delivery.  There is no better place in the region to undergo this complex treatment.
