Dr. Nitesh Paryani is a third generation radiation oncologist and currently serves as the president and medical director of Tampa Oncology and Proton. He also serves as the medical director for radiation oncology at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University, medical school at the University of Florida, and residency at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Paryani has been featured on local and international news outlets such as CNN, Bay News Nine, ABC Action News and publications such as The New York Times, the Florida Times Union, and the Washington Post. He has won the “Top Doctors” award from Tampa Magazine every year he has been in practice.

Dr. Paryani currently holds faculty appointments as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida and University of Central Florida. He was also appointed by Governor DeSantis to the State Cancer Control and Research Advisory Board. He is sadly a Jacksonville Jaguars fan and encourages his two young children to cheer for the Jaguars as well so that they can learn early in life how to handle losing with dignity and grace.
