Bonnie Westphal is a Physician Associate with a master’s degree in clinical medical sciences who is working alongside our physicians to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing radiation treatment.

She completed her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at the University of South Florida (USF) and a minor in entrepreneurship. While completing her undergradate degree she worked in a medically underserved area in adult and pediatric medicine. Bonnie believes that every patient population should have the opportunity to receive quality health care and her goal is to continue to advocate for these individuals. Addittionally she gained experience in Oncology by caring for patient’s diagnosed with cutaneous malignancies. As a Florida native, Bonnie continues to have a strong passion for the prevention and treatment of skin cancer. Bonnie then completed her master’s degree in clinical medical sciences at Barry University in Miami, Florida. Upon graduating, Bonnie joined forces with a family own clinic where she practiced in the field of gastroenterology. During this time she became familiar with surveillance and prevention of GI related malignancies as well as referring to specialists in Oncology when appropriate.

Her compassion and empathy for oncology patients has led her to join our team in Radiation Oncology. Bonnie enjoys exercising, gardening, the arts, and outdoors! Bonnie believes that the healing journey encompasses the body, mind, and soul. We must nurture all these things in order to navigate new phases in our life.
