Bonnie Westphal is a Physician Associate with a Master of Clinical Medical Science degree who works alongside our physicians to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing radiation treatment.

Bonnie earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, where she also completed a minor in Entrepreneurship. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in medically underserved communities in both adult and pediatric medicine, strengthening her commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for all patient populations. She also gained early oncology experience caring for patients with cutaneous malignancies, further developing her passion for cancer prevention and treatment. As a Florida native, Bonnie remains especially passionate about skin cancer awareness and prevention.

She later earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree in Physician Associate Studies from Barry University. Following graduation, Bonnie specialized in gastroenterology, gaining experience in the surveillance and prevention of gastrointestinal malignancies.  Her growing passion for oncology care eventually led her to the field of radiation oncology. Bonnie believes a patient’s journey encompasses the body, mind, and soul. Bonnie’s goal is to support patients through every stage of their care with clinical expertise, empathy, and genuine compassion.

Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys exercising, gardening, the arts, and spending time outdoors.
